Data Deletion

You can have your personal data deleted from YunaChat. The right path depends on who you are. The full picture of what we store is in the Privacy Policy.

If you messaged a business that uses YunaChat

YunaChat processes your conversation on behalf of the business you contacted. You have two options, and both work:

Deletion removes your conversation history, shared media, your contact details, and the records created from your chats. Billing and audit records belonging to the business are not personal conversation data and are retained as required by law.

If you used Facebook or Instagram: automatic deletion

If you interacted with a business through Facebook or Instagram, you can also trigger deletion directly from Meta, without contacting anyone:

If you hold a YunaChat account

Email support@yunachat.com from your account email and ask for account deletion. We will close the account and delete your account data, business data, catalog, and your customers' conversation data. Billing and audit records are kept only as long as accounting and legal obligations require. We will confirm by reply when deletion is complete.

Backups

Deleted data also leaves our encrypted backups as the backup cycle rotates, normally within 30 days of deletion.
